SLJ Week 3 Day 5 Activity 2: Caine's Arcade

For this activity we would like to know about your favourite game. It can be a board game, a card game, a game that you play outside with friends (e.g., rugby) or a quiet game that you play by yourself.
On your blog, tell us about your favourite game. What is it called? How do you play it?
My favourite game to play would probably be hockey because I play hockey in the winter.
How to play:
There are two teams of 11 and you verse each other. There are two wingers who attack and are near the outside of the turf. There are two insides who defend and attack. There is a center foward who scores goal (attacks). There are two halfs who defend and help attack, there is also center half who is like the halfs. Then there are the defenders who defend the cirlce and goal. Then there is the goalie who stops the ball from going in the goal. There are two halves in the game and you play with a ball and everyone has a stick. The goalie has to wear protective gear and every other player has to have shin pads, a mouthguard and a stick. The aim of the game is to beat the other team and get as many points as you can, but also have fun.

SLJ Week 3 Day 3 Activity 3: Need For Speed

Speaking of fast, for this activity we would like you to design your own fast vehicle. It can be anything! Please draw your super-fast vehicle on paper or use an app to help you. If it was me, I would make my super-fast vehicle something that I could use to get to school and home again each day!
On your blog, post a picture of your speedy vehicle along with a written description of how it works. Tell your readers what your vehicle is made of, any special features, how fast it goes, and who might use your vehicle.
My Writing is kind of blurry but my vehicle would be a smart ice cream van. It would be stocked with heaps of ice cream, the vehicle would be self driving, it would have extra bright lights, waffle cone wings so the van can fly, rockets at the back to make it go faster, and this vehicles max speed is 500km. People who want to have fun or maybe are late for things could use this vehicle and get to where they want to be quickly. If this was real I would definitely buy this and use it.

SLJ Week 3 Day 3 Activity 1: Nanogirl

For this activity, please visit the ‘Build Tiny New Zealand’ website and scroll to the bottom of the page where you will find a series of Video Tours of tiny houses. Watch any three videos on the site.
On your blog, tell us whether, or not, you would like to live in a tiny house one day. Please be sure to tell us why you feel the way that you do.
Personally I wouldn't live in a tiny house unless I really needed to. I love having a decent size house so I don't feel claustrophobic and I have heaps of room to walk around. I also enjoy having heaps of lawn space and I enjoy being out in the country. A tiny house would be good if you wanted to move locations, I think it's a smart idea having wheels on the tiny house. The tiny houses do look cool but if you were tall you would probably have to crawl around in the upstairs bit. But if people want to live in a tiny house I think the idea is cool but not for me.
