Weekend Recount

On Friday The finals for hockey was on, I played right wing for the whole game. Nana, Popa and Shaun came over to watch my game of hockey and my game of leauge. We drawed 2-2 but we would've won if the ref didn't call PC just before the ball hit the back board. On Saturday, I played a game of leauge. Our team won and we smashed Marist/Suburbs. I got West Coast player  of the day and it was my last game of leauge. On Sunday I went to  hockey training for the West Coast B team. Nana, Popa and Shaun left on Saturday.

Weekend Recount

On Thursday I played a game of hockey, We versed the Vikings and won 9-0. On Saturday we went over to Christchurch to watch Shaun play rugby, they lost 54-24 (I think thats the right score). After Shaun's rugby we went out for lunch and we had one of Hamish's friends coming back with us to stay the night. On Sunday I went into town to do West Coast hockey, and good thing it didn't rain while we were training, it rained right after we had finished training. For the first bit of my training mum was at the Rec centre to watch her friends daughter play netball. After hockey we came home and mum fed the calves.

Weekend Recount

In the weekend on Saturday I played a game of leauge, we lost by 2 points but techinacley we won because the ref said held, then not held which gave them the win, and the other ref was from Cobden. In the under 12's we lost that game but I got a try, because of Tylar's amazing chip kick over the other players then I dived and got the try. In the under 12's game one of the Cobden players randomly bowled me over, (I think there should have been some penalty there). When Hamish played his game of leauge he got his first try in 5 years. Dad was over in Christchurch to watch Shaun, and they smashed the other team.

On Sunday I had a hockey trial for the West Coast B team, there was 7 people there so Im pretty sure we all might of got into the team. At the trial we just did some drills and passing.

Before I went to my hockey trial Hamish and I played on the Wii.We didnt really do anything else in the weekend.

Hockey Recount

On Wensday our class went to a hockey tourtament. There were 4 different pools, both of the lake brunner teams were in different pools. In the tourtament the team I was in, which was the lakebrunner reds came 6th out of 8, but we had to verse the much harder teams that had lots of people who played west coast hockey. The Lake Brunner Blues came 2nd out of 8. It was good that we were aloud to go to that hockey tourtament and it was a good experience for the people who had never played hockey before. Some of the not so good things was that the wind kept in blowing and it had a cold breeze, but it was still all right to play in. It was good also that we had enough transport to go there. I think that it was great and we should enter the tourtament next time they have one because there will be other people and I think they will enjoy it to.
