SLJ Week 2 Day 4 Activity 1: Guiding Principles

For this activity, read through the seven whakataukī (proverbs or metaphors) presented in this document. Choose one that has meaning for you. Create a poster that features the whakataukī and be sure to include at least one image (a drawing or photograph) on the poster that represents the whakataukī that you chose.
On your blog, share your poster of your whakataukī.

  1. Hey Bridget!

This is a really nice poster of a whakataukī. I love the picture! I also really like how you have lots of different colours! It makes your poster really fun to read!

This is a really interesting whakataukī. What was it about this proverb that you liked? What do you think this means? Does it mean anything to you personally?

Having both the Māori and English translations was a really good idea. It means that lots of different people will be able to read and enjoy your poster.

    Really nice work!

    Matilda :)
