Fashion in the 1970s was quite unique. Take a look at the pictures of a ‘typical’ 1970s outfit and tell us, on your blog, two things that you like about 1970s fashion and two things that you don’t like about the fashion of the day. I am not a huge fan of the patterned pants. What about you?
One thing I like about the fashion is that with the pants there is room for your legs to breath unlike other pants and how they are right up against your skin and it gets really hot.
Another thing I like about the typical 1970's fashion shirts with collars I think they look neat.
One thing I dont like about the fashion is that the pants go all the way down past your shoes.
Another thing I dont like about the typical 1970's fashion is those patterned pants, thats just my opinion.

ReplyDeleteThe 70's fashion makes me smile! The wide legged pants or flares I think are really funny. I like that they are not too tight but not sure about the huge flare at the bottom.
I agree with you about them being long, they would drag on the ground and always be wet if it was raining.
The big collars are a real giveaway of the time. You can always tell what decade the fashion was from if the outfits had massive collars.
Eventually everything seems to come back into fashion. I wonder if we will see any of these things again?
I don't like the patterned pants either. I would definitely not wear these!! Would you ?

I think you have done a great job with this activity. I like the way you have added a picture and added a respectful and thoughtful opinion about bell bottom pants. Great job being honest about what you thought! It's always interesting to hear about other people's perspectives.
I don't think I'd enjoy wearing these bell bottom pants. I have quite short legs so I think I'd be tripping up on the flares every time I took a step. I'd look so funny trying to jump around everywhere so I don't fall over!
I like wearing sports clothes because I like running around, going for bush walks and playing indoor netball. Do you like wearing any clothes in particular?
