Quick Write - Tuesday

Once lived a young boy who came from a very poor family.

The boy was homeschooled, he didn’t know much or have many

friends. But the boy had a big dream and a big imagination.

His dream was to be a paperback writer.

He wrote on leafs and treasured each leaf with a different story on each

leaf. His parents didn’t name him so he stayed as he.

He is now grown up and writes paper book stories.

I will have a causerie about this later.

Keep in mind this is only a quick five minute quick write, it had to be about a made up backstory about a character that turns out to be a paperback writer. The word of the day is causerie.

Weekly Reflection

This week I think I was good at managing my time and I dont think I was horrible at anything but maybe next week I will try finish my 3 little pigs scratch, and my gruesome 3 little pigs. But I'm proud of my scratch so far and I really want to finish my gruesome version of the 3 little pigs. I also want to get %100 percent on 4th grade on khan academy. I will do a weekly reflection every two weeks.

Quick Write - Thursday

One day Richie Mccaw was taking his daily  jog, he takes the same circuit everyday. One day he noticed a different person taking a walk, he was a very blinkered man. Richie kept jogging and went into the park, he was trying to get away from that blinkered man. But Richie heard mumbling behind him, so he turned around. But behind him was the blinkered man, so Richie started to run. Richie turned into a dark alleyway to get away from the blinkered man. Richie saw the  man walk past and he let out a sigh of relief. But when Richie started to walk out of the alleyway Richie felt a hand with a firm grip on his shoulder. Duun Dun Duuunn (find out what happens… never)

This is only a quick 5 minute quick write and we needed to write a story with conflict and make it about a sports person, it could've been real or fake.

Quick Write - Tuesday

Today our quick write was about a fun activity or time you had with your cousins, because it is cousins day. You could choose wheather it could be real or fake. I chose my quick write to be a fake time with my cousin, so none of this is real. This is only quick so its not up to %100 quality.

One  time I was at a zoo with my cousin, she liked to think she was leonine.  It was on her 11th birthday, we were visiting the lion enclosure. We were visiting the lion enclosure because lions were her favourite animal.

When we went to the lion enclosure there was a rip in the fence. We were looking for the lion when we realised it wasn’t there. At that moment we realised the lion had escaped.

For 1 hour we had been looking  for the lion, but we couldn't find it! Then we went and told a staff member that worked at the zoo. They said lets look again in the lion’s enclosure, so then we went in with them and looked. We went into the lion’s sleeping  place and there it was safely asleep. The zoo then fixed the rip in the fence so the lion can't get out.

Quick Write About My School Holidays!

In the holidays I took the last week off school and went to stay at my  great aunty's place for a week. Went to smiggle, typo, timezone and the mall. I went to go see hotel transylvania 3 on the day it came out and during school time!I only went there because mum and dad were in rarotonga! When we came back we had my brothers come back for the holidays as well! About 5 days into the holidays one of Shaun’s friends came over to stay for the rest of the holidays. On the last Wednesday in the holidays I went to see the Incredibles 2 with some of my  friends that do not go to my school. I stayed the night at their place and stayed up late. Then I didn't do much for the rest of the holidays.
