Weekend Recount

On Friday afternoon I played a game of hockey, we versed Greymouth Gold and we won 3-0. I nearlly scored a few goals then somebody on the other team hit the ball with their foot so I had to go out of the circle and pass the ball. On Saturday I had a by so I didn't play but Hamish still had his game so we went to go watch him play. On Sunday Hamish and I got our bikes fixed and we went around the community and sold some raffle tickets to our neighbor, Hamish and I biked around 7 kilometers when we sold raffel tickets. We left at 12.10 and got back at 2 o'clock. That was all I did in the weekend.

Weekend Recount

On Friday dad went over to Ashburton to see Grandma and pick up Shaun to come back home. Then  I played my game of hockey, our team lost their first game and we lost 2-3, but that was ok. On Saturday I played my game of leauge our team versed Cobden and we won. Our Grandad came to watch our games of leauge. Hamish's team lost but they worked really well together as a team. When we got home from leauge Shaun and Dad were back. Then on Sunday I made Tess' Birthday card and made some present's for her. Then we didn't do much so that was my weekend.

Sweet mother i'm coming home

Now I know i'm not alone

Isolated and lonely

But I still have faith and hope

When we had Miss C in for the day we watched a short film of the Literacy Shed,its called Traiblazers in space. We wrote could right a poem or hakiu of what we saw on the film. This is the poem Mary,Eden and I wrote.

Weekend Recount

On Saturday I played a game of leauge our team won by a lot. After my game I went to play for the grade above because they were short of players, we were versing Hokitika and in the grade above we lost the game. One of the guys from Hokitika from the upper grade was big, I went up and put presser on him then I just let one of the other guys tackle him. On Sunday we didn't really do much but we got some more pigs and I called my pig smokey bacon jr. So we didn't do much in the weekend.

 Storm Cloud Photo Revwiew

The Storm Cloud photograph is by an unknown artist, that took a photograph of a sunset or sunrise, that looks like it is at a beach because of the lighthouse and bushes. It has a mix of hot and cold colours that contrast really well with the rain shining through the clouds and light. The beautiful clouds are covering most of the sky and there is a little shadow of a lighthouse, some bushes, grass and a fence that is still visible and not fully black.

The Storm Cloud photograph is a lovely picture that gives you a relaxing feeling.

The colours in the photograph contrast really well. The picture has as mix of hot and cold colours that mix together nicely. The mix of colours is at the top is a stormy thunderous violet,gray,purple mix, then at the bottom it is more of a soothing peachy,pinky,magenta colour.

Some bits of image is confusing. Personally at first I thought the thing shining through the clouds were light, but the light is actually the sun and rain colliding.

Another one of the confusing things is the black line down the bottom of the photo, when you look closer it is grass and some fences.

I can connect with this image with the mix of colours. When the sunsets or sunrises it has a mix of colours that look really cool. When I looked at the sky I saw a peachy pinky colour and the clouds were above the mix of sky and it looked pretty and relaxing.

Overall I think the Storm Cloud Photograph is a relaxing, soothing photograph that captures a magnificent moment in time.

Most people who like scenery and relaxing soothing photo’s will enjoy the photograph of the stormy clouds and sun colliding.

Weekend recount

In the weekend I had my older brother come over for the weekend. On Saturday we went over to Christchurch to watch Shaun play rugby after Shaun played his game of rugby we went to Nana's house and In rugby Shaun got a knee or sprig above his eybrow and had to get stitches. After Shaun and Mum came back from the hospital Hamish,Shaun and Dad went to watch the Crusaders VS Highlanders. While the boys were at the rugby Mum and I went to Riccarton mall, we spent about 20 minuets trying to find a car park, when we got our park we went to the Smiggle shop first (I spent alot of money there) I got a giant rainbow slinky, a water glittler clock that when you turn it, it changes to the date/time,timer,alarm and another one that I forgot, a cool unicorn fluffly keyring and the letter B keyring, some cool gel pens and much more cool stuff. Me and mum had a look around some other shops but didn't find anything we liked then went to Tower Junction and I got a cool fluffy onsie and a cool unicorn T-shirt. We didn't do much on Sunday and Monday.
